Learning Agreement

Purpose

This learning agreement sets out what learners, parents and I commit to during our work together. It is intended to be practical, honest and short.

What I commit to

• Preparing every session in advance
• Delivering each session on time and in full
• Providing a written note after every session
• Providing a monthly progress report
• Communicating any concerns early

What I ask of learners

• Attending sessions punctually and prepared
• Attempting the practice tasks between sessions
• Asking questions honestly when something is unclear
• Communicating any difficulties as they arise

What I ask of parents

• Providing a quiet space and reliable internet for online sessions
• Ensuring the learner attends consistently
• Sharing any relevant information about school progress or wellbeing

Review

This agreement is reviewed every three months so that our work continues to fit the learner's evolving goals.
